I don't recall how I came by this item from the 1964 Tasmanian Business Guide. I thought it may have been a company that just hired vans, but other information indicates Mr. Applebee built his own vans and decorated them with a distinctive shaped red stripe on the side, and a colour mural of birdlife on the offside front. They are an unusual design without front side windows and an odd raised drawbar.
