1949 "Star of the West"
This item from Modern Motor, May 1949 shows a 26.5ft, 28cwt caravan with all the bells and whistles. The lantern roof and window awnings are nice touches as are the large stars on the back. A massive van for 1949 I imagine, wonder if it ever made it into production? The article states that "the tandem wheels are spaced 12 ft. apart" which seems like it might be a typo, that's an awful big gap and doesn't come across that way in the photo. George
