On a recent trip to Melbourne. Linda and I met up with Gregory who owns this very tidy 1957 12' Greythorn caravan.

A 1959 ad for the Greythorn Roadmaster, which would be the same van in the photo in the first post above..

Vintage caravan brochure for Greythorne Caravans and their Roadmaster.

It is hard to date this brochure as the fourth post down list Greythorne at the Mont Albert address in 1956 BUT the fifth post down lists 2 address for Greythorne and this ad is 1956 as well. :?: :?: At least the photo in the third post down sheds some light on it as it is a more "modern" design for 1959.

It details the 12 and 15 foot models which are 3 and 4 berths.

Some information on the new Greythorne aluminium vans from Australian Motor Manual, January 1962. A mighty fine looking unit that certainly looks to me like it's beyond the capability of a '62 Holden!
