I borrowed this image from an ebay add for a South Australian RAA Camping and Caravan Guide for 1949.
One thing I found unusual about this van is that it looks as though the side windows open in instead of out. If I am right I wonder how many times the owners hit their heads on the windows getting into bed or sitting at the table.
