Hi, this is my 1952-3 Carapark Hunter Junior, the previous owner owned it for 59 years, he bought it second hand in 1955, it was around 2 years old when he bought it, it's in better condition than it looks,it has all the original features.
Richard, the insides have been painted over, I can see polished veneer under paint in areas.
More soon

Hi Stephen.
Great find ! It also looks as though it will be an easy restoration, and we will look forward to the progress photos. :D :D
I have also sent you a message.
Cheers.
Richard.

Well done, a nice little score. Must be getting a bit tight for room at your place.
I guess Pam and I can help you out by coming up and taking that old HK Prem away.

Cheers John :D :D :D :D

Hi John and Pam,
Hope your both well, no room at home so I'm in Kempsey working on a new highway, I found it locally so I thought it would keep me busy when not at work, the park I'm staying in has given me room in there huge shed to restore, how lucky is that
Cheers Stephen&Julie :D

Hi,
Back to Kempsey with Junior in tow, next morning up early, unload and start the clean up, looks like two areas with water damage but the rest just needs scrub and paint, man there were some serious rat nests in cupboards and under seats, all gone now, outside is recoverable with some repair and paint

Hi All,
Would anyone know what the rims and hubs maybe off, they are 6 stud x 6.00 x 16 (old tyres)
Cheers Stephen :)

Hi Stephen.
You may need Col to confirm this but they look very similar to the rims on the Glen caravan I restored HERE and Col identifed those as standard 16" after market rims with a stud pattern that matches most Jap 4x4's.
Cheers.
Richard.

Junior's Update,
Removed wheels and the axle this afternoon, off to the sandblaster next door for a clean up and undercoat.
Removed one window as well and took it around to the local Mens Shed and asked them for there opinion and they happily said they would restore them one at a time for me if I payed for membership ($15.00) and $3.00 every time I come around, I seem to be right in the middle of the of all the facilities I need...how goods that, they have all the tools to do the job
