I found this 1977 article which was actually an address by Mr Neil Chesney to the CTIA of Queensland seminar.

When I read this the other day after it was posted I reckoned I had seen the converted aircraft towed with a prime mover he refers to in the 1st paragraph of the second page. After a bit of digging I found this from Modern Motor Feb., 1949 and it would nearly have to be the one. I know there are a couple of converted DC3s about but they are self propelled motor homes. Great outfit, wonder where it finished up??

It certainly looks to be the one, glad it survived, hope it turns up somewhere in the future looking as it should, and hopefully it's not just heading off to be recycled into drink cans
