I came across this unusual little teardrop caravan at Katoomba in 2008.

1950 Gypsy caravanette.
Weighing only 4 1/2 cwt this little camper is 7'4" long. It has a small kitchenette in the rear with many cupboards and a metal lined recess.Inside the sleeping area is 7' x 4' and an inside height of 4'.
Priced at 175 pounds in 1950.

Sports man Cub caravanette.
With a length of 7' and a weight of approx 3 cwt this little camper is made specifically for fishermen and shooters. Very strong jig constructed bondwood with a single side door and very simple kitchenette.
Price of 97 pounds in 1950.
