I have found a little bit of information on how to service some of the main types of water pumps that were installed in the caravans from the 40's up into the 60's.

Foot Pump. Type 1

This is the type of pump that we have in our 1965 Sunliner.
Below is the pump section that is under the floor.

Hand Pump. Type 1.

This hand pump is a very common hand pump from the early 60's , and was commonly used in Sunliner caravans.
