5th Wheeler.

Michael sent in this American 5th wheeler that someone has adapted to connect to the back of their station wagon.
Just love the block of wood holding up the tailgate.

Hi EEFBEEMAD

I cant see a problem here.... That is a load rated lump of 4x4 iron bark he is using as a prop on his towball.
Its obviuos the bloke didnt want to damage his fibreglass canopy so shifted the fifth wheel hitch to the tailgate... and rightly so.. those canopys are worth a lotta money.
I am a certified engineer :roll: and have passed this set up for use on NSW roads.
I made him upgrade the 6G woodscrews holding the hitch on the tailgate to 8 gauge self tappers backed up with a copiuos dose of superglue.
