But the odds where against me with 3 judges ...who.. over a period of about 20 minutes made the crowd wait for results / their turn at tasting....
Much anticipation as the excitement grew.. and bribes where offered. I wanna know how Ken koala gets on all the judging panels...??

After what seemed like an eternity the master of Ceremony "Geoff de Chef" announced the winners...
I waited patiently for my number to come up... but alas.. it wasnt to be... wellll.. at least i thought it wasnt...
Anne was asked to pick a number.... She was hesitant.. my number was "12" so i yelled out ''Hey Anne.. how many cakes in a dozen" she replied .. 12.. i asked her to repeat it .. but this time a bit louder.. when she did i jumped up and claimed my prize... eazy peasy.. although a bit underhanded at the time.. the quick and the dead i say... i shall love my 2 pack poncho set prize for ever and ever...
here is a few of the winners.

The pepper pig cakes where popular..
Once again.. big thanks to Jude for the organisation and sorting of sites for the weekend. Not an easy job. Look forward to next year .. once again Jude has been working on shifting everyone onto the same sites but remember.. one week later next year to tie in with the Jamberoo car show on the sunday.... Get your thinking caps on for another "challenge"... may not be cullinary delights.. but garaunteed to bring a crowd together and cause a stack of laughs...
I had a great run home .. around 4 hours to my front door... now i have just gotta clean up the van...whipped cream, caramel, biscuit crumbs blocking the sink drain .....empty stubbies....Oh.. that reminds me... The reddotel bottle bag collected 170 bottles .... a poor effort compared to the 385 at stockton... ya gunna havta lift your game kiddies...
