Re: Gypsy Caravans.
This Gypsy advert from Outdoors and Fishing magazine (not a Winsor publication) for January 1953 shows the Gypsy lineup with the Gypsy 10 in the centre. There are some differences, a much smaller Gypsy name for one, than in the above advertisement which it would seem is an earlier model.
And from a later issue of the same magazine, September, 1954, a Gypsy in colour on the cover, what appears to be a larger Gypsy as there is a more space between the window and the door than there appears to be on the 12 in the other advert.

This little Gypsy 10 was at the Nationals in Broken Hill, and seemed like a nice little van which had a good spruce up. I particularly liked the original cast badges.

Re: Gypsy Caravans.
A bit of luck at Clarendon swap meet yesterday, picked up a Lanes kerosene stove in reasonable condition, a $3 2.25" tow ball for my dolly wheels, a $5 jockey wheel and a 1951 NRMA Open Road with several caravan advertisements.
This one for the Gypsy caravan. And while wandering around I found a Gypsy pedal car, very well made, probably home made with a Gypsy caravan badge across the radiator. Unless Gypsy were making pedal cars to tow the Jennison toy caravans, that would be a combo. That said, any kid who could pedal this thing far or for any length of time would have to be a future Olympian, it was heavy!! George

Re: Gypsy Caravans.
While at Orange I ran across this van which the owner said was a 1965 Gypsy. It would appear to have been reclad and windows changed, I didn't have a chance to chat to find out more.
