I just got off the phone to the managers at Huskisson..
It appears that Casper has engaged a 20 tonne crane to lift the ensuite up while he drives through onto his site.
Plumbers and leccos onsite on the Friday we arrive to disconnect the services before the grand entrance and big lift.
.
Geeeeeezzz i dunno.. the extremes people go to to hide their incompetence......

Another reality is that he has booked an unpowered site at Coledale.... large flat turning area to park the van on site.. no reversing required..
All powered sites have a 10 foot embankment behind them... the off road white ghost wagon wouldnt handle the drop off onto the site.. would be a bit of a face plant for the whole rig.....

It is nice of the Park to make the effort, we will be in the HJ sedan not the HQ wagon. Backing up just seems to come more naturally to some people, not that there is anything wrong with that. We are staying on an unpowered site at Coledale as rumour has it that a vintage caravaner of electrical ties has booked one of the few powered sites, this person has form in almost burning their own caravan so we thought it best to stay a safe distance.
You never can be tooo careful.

Where there is smoke.. there is fire.. where there is fire ... there is warmth.
Warmth at Coledale has never been a common thing..
So ... any sort of heat generated from whatever means is a good thing.

aaah spring must be in the air , casper has surfaced with a flight plan eh ?
good to have you on board but ive got to ask why the stopover in coledale? just reminiscing or a practice run to sharpen the skills
before the main event ? be careful reddo he might be planning a surprise approach......backwards !

The reason for the coledale thursday night stay is..
If i left Friday morning to drive down there to Huskisson i would get tangled up in the Sydney traffic Friday mayhem and waste most of the day getting down to huskisson.
Staying at Coledale thursday means a short run Friday into Nowra and i get to enjoy watching casper reverse twice... or as he calls it "Back up"

Lovely seeing the back up brothers bonding, there will be no surprise back ups from Casper.

All good bro...
There is NO drive through sites at Husky.. so i am keen to see what technique will be employed to reverse the casper van into place if he has a "No reversing" .. or as he calls it.. "Back up" policy

Simple,
Casper pulls up and decouples the Supalite Cadet or Hunter Minor and wheels it around in position desturbing other park guests as least as possible.
Unlike others say in a noisey EH panel van or say a Chev C10 truck reversing up and back making a racket and plowing up the manicured lawns.
