For those who have been around OTP and VV.com for more than a few years, some sad news.
Bob passed away on Wednesday after a short illness.
Bob could talk the leg off an iron pot, and possessed the most extensive collection of everything (especially old VV mags!!) I have ever seen.
He was a genuine lovely bloke and a mine of information. I am very saddenned at his passing.

It is very sad news Jenno, and even more so as he rang a couple of weeks ago but I had to cut the conversation short as I had Claire screaming and he never rang back. He also was very supportive of me and the ourtouringpast website and will be sadly missed.
