End of the road - teenager's retreat.

We all know lots of older vans are turned into backyard 'teenager retreats' to give them some 'space' so they can do 'whatever' and lots of these vans in turn are lost.

Some are recovered and I believe our Olympic was a 'retreat' for a while but it didn't seem to suffer for the indignity.

These photos show one that certainly has reached the end of the road, used, abused, trashed, filled with rubbish and then dumped in a rest area on the roadside. Suppose it's cheaper than paying tip fees.

And of course the ratepayers pick up the tab for the eventual removal.

I reckon its got potential....
Sure ... it needs a lick of paint and a bit of a freshen up....
The teenagers just needed a bit of guidance.....
They have reached the end of the dismantle stage.....
Just need one of you old masters to take em through the restoration phase.....
Otherwise....look on the bright side... its in a good location for rescue/retrieval.
