Hi All
Well .. we can almost see 2015 from here.....just one week to xmas ... and before ya know it we will be on the 2015 slippery dip heading for Xmas 2015.
With that in mind we don't wanna let the year slip away do we??
So.. I am throwing up a couple of venues here for sayyyyyyyyyyy.. February 6/7/8 Friday /sat/sund.
1.
Back to East Gresford camping reserve... limited powered sites. basic amenities.
$1.00 showers about $10 a night for car and van. Dawg friendly and Has open pit campfire.
2.
Ferndale caravan park.. just near chichester dam. Don't know too much about this little van park but have been told its not a bad spot for a weekend away....'ear yas go...http://www.ferndalepark.com.au/pricing... its dawg friendly and you can have a campfire
3.
Lostock Dam caravan park.... About 1/2hour further on from east gresford out along the river. Powered sites and a nice creek running past it.
http://www.visitnsw.com/destinations/hu ... ravan-park
I wouldn't mind having a weekend later in the year at Cassillis free camp ( out past Merriwa )... its across the road from the bowling club....wooo whoooo
Check out the state of the art laundry in photo number 3. .. but.. the "Camp kitchen /come bowling club" looks the goods.. http://www.caravancaravan.com.au/entity ... g-area/NSW
So... there ya go.. just three alternatives(+1). You are bound to come up with others.. its easy to think of spots to go... but getting people off their arses and on the road can be a whole lot more difficult!!
So come on... prove me wrong

Vintage van weekend - Hunter valley
Re: Vintage van weekend - Hunter valley
Hi Reddo.
There are a few great spots to stay that you have selected there, but a top vintage caravan weekend also depends on the company, so if anyone is interested in Reddos trips let him know. As he said some have limited spots.
Unfortunately with a new baby due in early January it will take us 3 or 4 months to get in the swing of things, so our trips will be a bit limited. (unless Joshua and I get the OK to duck away for a boys weekend.)
Cheers.
Richard.
