A couple of recent ebay offerings of interest was a Goodwill Club lapel badge and a car badge. The lapel badge was in great condition and sold for around $44 while the car badge was a bit poorly, missing its enamel centre badge and the chrome it seems. It sold for $22, unfortunately neither are now in my possession however

The article posted by Richard above explains the different colour codes used on the badges to identify them by State and as either city or country areas, all a bit complex and there must be a dozen combinations before they got their individual centre badge. I wonder if an old employee of Stokes Badges has a couple of sets salted away??

Another MM car badge turned up on eBay recently, a very fine looking specimen still on its coloured backing piece, it exceeded my bid and sold for $52, will I ever get to own one???

Another MM badge slipped through my fingers on eBay, obviously I'm a cheap skate. This one sold for $66.55, a nice Sydney badge, no coloured backing and maybe a couple of extra holes in it but the price just seems to be going up.

This looks like it would be a nice piece of 'caravanalia' to find, especially if you could pick it up for 15/- ($1.50).
I don't quite know what it is for or what you were supposed to do with it, and who knows, maybe Mr. Folie still has a box full in in the shed.
