I have been in contact with the museum to help organise the Period Caravan Display for the Expo that is going to be held on Sunday the 13th June 2010.
It sounds as though it will be a fantastic day with reports that they will have a Repco Brabham racing car and dirt track racer attending as well as one of the original drivers. and there should be around 150 to 200 display cars attending.
The numbers are limited for the Caravan display because of the amount of space needed so get your application in early. I will be taking about 4 of my vans, but if more members from the ourtouringpast.com website wish to go I can reduce the number of vans I take.
So print off the form below, fillit in and send in your $15.00 ( $10 refunded at the gate.)

Re: Motorlife Museum. Motoring Expo.
Well it was a fantastic day yesterday, and we could have not asked for a better day. It was a bit chilly in the morning but once the sun came up it was beautiful. I took 3 of my vans down to the Expo and I was kept busy all day with questions about the vans. I did think I would have the same people looking that go to Coledale to look, but only a couple of people mentioned that they had seen the vans there.
I was very busy answering questions in the morning that I missed the arrival of Sir and Lady Jack Bramham, which was a bit of a disapointment as I had something for him to sign for me.
There was alot of cars that attended with a fair few of them parking in the nearly completed extension to the museum.
I did take a short video of the day with the the link on youtube

Hi Richard
It was a good day and like you I missed getting a signature from Sir Jack it would have fitted nicely between Peter Brock and Harry Firth on my cap.
The vans drew a good crowd Nice shot of my bright orange Viva GT on your video, no, it's not a Torana but I wish I had a quid for everyone who thought it was or even worse, an Escort
Here's a photo of your display effort. George

2 Repco Brabham cars with the second one ( No 21 ) was one of the cars that Sir Jack Brabham raced.
Just a small example of some of the cars that were on display.
