Richard Glad to see someone else has a gypsy It's now down to a chassis. After measuring, it seems the van is built off centre. It is about 20mm wider on the drivers side. I had to replace some crossbracing but the originals that are there are longer on one side. If you measure from the chassis rail...

Hi I'm new to the forum so I don't know if this will work. Got hold of a Gypsy 12 footer and am hoping to do it up to drag behind my EK ute. It's getting built too. Hi guys Just joined up but have been looking for a while. After much searching I think my old van is a Gypsy 12 and the CTIA plate says 2629 and from where you said the chassis number was it's 777. Not sure of the year I guess early 50's. It's a lot of work but it will happen, it won't happen overni...
