Re: Meat safe
I've not seen one in a caravan but I do remember we used to take one with us camping. Also remember having to scrub the maggots out of the meat once when someone didn't shut the door properly. Yep we cooked it and ate it, otherwise we were going to go hungry. I have one just like Gordons. I use it m...

Re: transporting non towable vans
Thanks Gordon, Yes I considered changing the tyres as an option, I just wasn't sure you could tow an unregistered van and thanks for the duct tape tips. I have purchased a couple of items from this seller before as I have a teenager decorating the gr...

Re: A Touring We Go
just a thought, Read of a couple doing this and also a friend from the 70's little sister and her hubby do it as well. If you really want to tour and dont have the luxury of a decent trust fund.... apparently there is quite a lot of work available (or there was) managing van parks while the owners t...

Re: Port Norlunga
Reddo, That was my first thought too but then figure a tree cut down would have a smooth cut, I'm thinking we might be seeing new seedling trees surrounded by a brush type protector. These days we use plastic. None the less it looks pretty barren. Would be interesting to see an update. Love the phot...
