Hi Richard
Attached is an earlier item on Flynn from Australian Monthly Motor Manual of Nov. 1949. It shows Flynn to have been at 221 Bouverie Street, Carlton, Melbourne a the time. The photo looks like a montage, the van superimposed, Photoshop today. I've done a little bit of electronic fiddling myself
to keep all the text on one page, hope that is ok?

Here's another item from Flynn, the
'Cabincar' a 10 foot van as detailed in Modern Motor, December 1951. It looks like a teardrop on steriods and may not be that original in style or name, despite the indication it is a 'Reg. Des.'
An item in Modern Motor of August,
1948 gave details of an American design caravanette called the
'Cabin Car' with a rather unusual arrangement of the wheels being postitioned to the rear. The article is included here for comparison.

This photo of a Flynn 'Cabincar' was published in "Modern Motor's Book of Lightweight Trailers" 1952-3 edition but it doesn't appear to be as streamlined as the illustration and has no wheel spat, a square topped door and a rectangular window instead of the teardrop shape.

Mr Winser seems to have been a bit of a Flynn fan, and from this advertising from Motor Manual in Aug., 1953, he may have persuaded them to put their talents with ply to use producing a kit form of Motor Manual's boat. How cool would it be now to have a matching van and boat produced by Flynn??
At least two sizes seem to have been available, and the kit included oars.
