A few photos of an early 1960's 13' Skyline caravan. It is from the period when the manufactures started using aluminium for the roof, but still kept the bondwood sides to keep the cost down.

Re: Skyline Caravans.
This fibreglass Skyline caravan ( or re badged Kennedy Caravan) was recently advertised on ebay with the following sellers comment.
Up For Sale is a 1957 Skyline Caravan made in Melbourne back in the Day, This caravan has only had 2 owners and has hardly been used there is a story behind it. Totally original even has the original number plate when it was first registered in 1957, even the cook top has hardly been used...
Not sure about the year of 1957 as it doesnt really match up with my build dates, but I could be wrong. It looks to be a very nice original van.

Re: Skyline Caravans.
On the weekend I purchased a Broadbent's Eastern Half of Victoria, Map No. 321B, probably dating from the mid to late 1950s. I've picked up a few old maps in recent times, but this is the only one with a considerable amount of advertising about the border. One is for Skyline caravans, using the same illustration as some of the above advertsing.
GeorgeRe: Skyline Caravans.
I found this very interesting 1962 vintage caravan ad for the fully moulded fibreglass Skyline caravan.
I wonder what the "full vision double ender" is referring to? Could it be that the ends have a similar moulding with windows that can be see through while towing?
