1958 vintage caravan ad for Roadmaster Caravans of South Australia.

I have included this ad as it is identical to the 1964 ad shown in the post above, which shows the models had not changed in those 6 years.

At a mates place recently I found this black and white photo pinned on the cork board in his office. It had been there for years after he enquired about a Roadmaster van. It's only about 4" x 2" and heavily screened so the detail of the badges on the side are poor. The 'Special' badge above the window seems to be straight off a Holden.

The reverse is stamped 'ROADMASTER SALES AND SERVICE PTY. LTD., 1099 SOUTH ROAD, EDWARDSTOWN.' It would seem they had moved north on South Road, a bit closer to Adelaide, or the other location was manufacturing.

At South West Rocks this 15ft Deluxe with a fibreglass roof.
