To fully understand the history of Playtime caravans the first post in the Rowvan Caravans section needs to be read, see also Farrell Caravans.

A nice stylish little van which would have been fairly light too judging from the tow car, a Vauxhall Caleche and the 4 cylinder Wyvern model too by the look of the hub cap, amazing where they turn up.

1950's vintage caravan brochure for Playtime Caravans.

It is interesting that the brochure shows on page three that the exterior is clad in marine bonded ply, where our Rowvan is clad externally with masonite.
